Christine jets off to Denver with galpal Elsie to see
Tom Petty and Pearl Jam; visit the Red Rock's Ampitheater;
enjoy the mountains; and become a Coyote Ugly girl.

In the early hours of June 8th, Madison Jacquelyn Duncan arrived.
She was 20 inches long and just over 7 lbs. Just in time to make
Chris & Chris officially an Aunt & Uncle.

Dinner and a movie
After a hectic month, the Chris's set off for the weekend in
St Petersburg, staying at the fabulous bed & breakfest: the Dickens House. The house was a perfect place to stay. Go say hi to Ed. The trip included a visit to the Dali Museum, and dinner at Ceviche.

The Surly Chicks held a city walk after their radio show that went through some of Sarasota's finest watering holes including
The Gator Club, Smokin Joes and dinner at Sangria - everyones new favorite tapas restaurant.

The 12 amazing monologues that make up the show were performed by 12 different local actresses: Alison Abbey, Christine Alexander, Zan Aufderheide, Mandy Elmore, Dana Frankel, Peg Hughes, Kendall Jones, Pam Karasy, Montana Knapp, Natalie Pierson, Amanda Schlachter (director), and Carrie Wilds.

Chris & Chris take a break by camping in a local state park. It was warm, peaceful and the final trip of the season. See you again in October!
  

Livestock
Christopher & friends attend the final Livestock, a rock festival formaly held annually in Zephyrhills, FL. This was the view behind the band Trapt, during an exciting excusion backstage.

Christine and Elsie team up again to put together Sarasota After Dark where as it says on the website "restless 30- and 40- (even 50-) somethings can find something to do," and began promoting it on their new weekly radio show called, you guessed it... Sarasota After Dark.

Christine ran into 20 year standup veteran Diane Ford while attending a show at the Backlot. Diane continues to deny any involvement.
  

NEWS 01.2006
Christine was recently featuered twice in one day! She aired on 1220 am on the Cliff Roles show "Talk of the Suncoast" with other members of the hip chick organization Veronica Tart. Cool, girly site: Surly Chicks was also featured on the S2 Report, a daily email report on Sarasota business.
